eDrive4us.com is about solving your transport tasks as easily, cheaply and sustainably as possible.
How is that possible?
All of our partners have electric vehicles that are used in big cities. Here it is most important to keep the air clean, as children and the weak are on the streets, where air quality is crucial for their health. In the countryside there are fewer people and the airspace is larger than in cities. Many large vehicles, such as trucks, have difficulty being electric because the technology is not as advanced.
Many companies also have to have an ongoing process of moving from fossil fuels to electric propulsion.
Our app is designed to find the best solutions for our users in the field of transportation. They are automatically offered vehicles that are suitable for the task.
If a family is moving from Copenhagen to Møn, they are offered regular trucks.
If a single person with a small amount of moving goods is moving from Vesterbro to Amager, they are offered a large van with electric propulsion.
The same applies if our user needs to order a taxi, they are automatically offered vehicles that are adapted to the task.
Electric vehicles are a positive revolution, but there must be room for a smooth transition. So the older vehicle fleet still has its place in our society.
Sustainability is also about preserving already produced vehicles.
From a political point of view, there are already many initiatives to improve our air quality.
You have to remember to consider that it takes longer to charge than to refuel, and there are a number of areas where this plays a crucial role. At the same time, a vehicle is an investment that a company must place in a realistic timeline.
There are several different types of electric vehicles today. 100% electric, hybrid with mixed propulsion and then the latest which is the “reverse hybrid”, where a small petrol engine charges the vehicle’s battery while driving. There must be room for them all, and car manufacturers are the most realistic when it comes to being forward-thinking.
If you have an older vehicle that you want to keep as sustainable as possible, you can keep your service agreements where oil, tire pressure and exhaust meet the manufacturer’s instructions. You can keep the vehicle free from rust by waxing the car’s painted surfaces.
Our vision for the future is to create a function in our app where ordinary road users can see when they can drive from home and reach their workplace, with as few stops as possible along the way. This function will only work optimally if all drivers use our app.
However, this can improve traffic jams very quickly. The same applies to city driving, where at a speed of approx. 50 km/h you should preferably drive through the light curves without stopping for a red light.
Most light curves are currently pre-programmed so that they best suit the traffic.
If a company or a private individual wants to take over the eDrive4us.com concept, this is possible.
In addition to the domain name and logo, the new owner will also receive a non-binding action plan. This plan will describe how the concept will be a success. A new owner can easily change our concept, as it is not currently burdened with expenses, and is therefore completely CO2 neutral.
